The state’s commitment to industrial growth is evident through agencies such as TIDCO and SIPCOT, which continue to develop four major industrial corridors — the Chennai Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC), Chennai Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor (CKIC), Kochi-Coimbatore-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor, and the Defence Industrial Corridor along with industrial parks and strategic joint ventures that support industrial and logistics investments across the state.

One of Tamil Nadu’s key strengths is its sector-specific manufacturing clusters supported by industrial parks, joint ventures, plug-and-play facilities and brownfield opportunities. The state also operates Guidance Tamil Nadu, its dedicated investment promotion agency, which continues to facilitate investments across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing andd industrial sectors. Following the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2024, the state secured 631 investment commitments worth approximately ₹6.64 lakh crore, reinforcing its position as one of India’s leading investment destinations.
