Lumax Industries Limited, the flagship company of Lumax-DK Jain Group, a leading player in the Indian automotive Industry, has signed up for a spacious Grade A, Built-To-Suit (BTS) unit at Horizon Industrial Park, Chakan II in Pune, Maharashtra. The plant, spread across 2.6 lakh square feet, will serve as a manufacturing facility for a range of automobile lighting systems and solutions for a variety of applications.
Lumax- DK Jain Group is a pioneer in Indian automotive sector with a 10000-strong workforce, working across 32 modern manufacturing locations across India. The Lumax-DK Jain Group has a turnover of over INR 3470 Crore, and empowers the assembly lines of almost all top automotive OEM brands.
Speaking on the launch of the Chakan facility, Mr. Dhanesh Kumar Jain, Chairman, Lumax-DK Jain Group, said, “Lumax has undergone a remarkable evolution in the last seven decades to become a reputed organisation in the Indian auto components industry. Traditionally, Lumax operated out of standalone facilities, but the facilities witnessed at the Horizon Industrial Park prompted us to move within.
