Strategic and Well-Connected Location

Located within Greenbase-Horizon Industrial and Logistics Park at Oragadam, TD Connex’s manufacturing facility sits at the centre of South India’s most established electronics and advanced manufacturing corridor. The site benefits from direct access to the Oragadam–Sriperumbudur Industrial Belt, with strong road connectivity via NH-48 (Bengaluru–Chennai Highway), the Chennai Outer Ring Road, and key state highways, enabling efficient movement of inbound components and outbound finished electronics. Proximity to Chennai International Airport (~40 km) supports time-critical shipments, while access to Chennai and Ennore Ports (~55–65 km) enables export-oriented operations. The location is embedded within a mature ecosystem of automotive, electronics, and precision engineering OEMs and suppliers, and is directly adjacent to the Hiranandani Township, offering access to housing, social infrastructure, and workforce amenities. The TD Connex engagement was anchored in a solution-first, process-led development approach, focused on aligning facility design with the operational requirements of electronics manufacturing and high-precision assembly. Rather than adapting a generic industrial shell, Greenbase-Horizon worked closely with TD Connex’s engineering and operations teams to translate production workflows, material movement, and quality-control needs into a purpose-built facility configuration. Design decisions were driven by efficient bay planning, optimised utility zoning, and clearly segregated process areas to support controlled manufacturing environments and smooth internal logistics. Infrastructure planning prioritised flexibility and future scalability, with layouts structured to accommodate evolving production lines, testing requirements, and technology upgrades. By integrating statutory, safety, and compliance considerations early in the design phase, the project enabled faster approvals and uninterrupted execution. The outcome is a Built-to-Suit facility that reflects TD Connex’s operational precision, supports rapid scale-up, and delivers long-term reliability within a globally benchmarked industrial park.

Rapid Turnaround Time

After design finalisation, Greenbase-Horizon committed to an accelerated delivery schedule aligned with TD Connex’s strict operational timelines and customer commitments. To meet these requirements, construction was executed with multiple work fronts and additional resource deployment, enabling rapid progress across civil, structural, and utility scopes. The core facility was completed in a record 4–5 months from the start of construction, allowing TD Connex to commence its internal fit-out activities without delay. Final handover was achieved within a further 1–2 months, resulting in an overall project delivery timeline of approximately 6–7 months. This tightly managed execution ensured that TD Connex could proceed with equipment installation, trials, and production readiness as planned, reinforcing Greenbase-Horizon’s capability to deliver time-critical, Built-to-Suit industrial facilities without compromising on quality or compliance.
